Office Environments of New England, the premier provider of office furnishings, architectural products and audio visual products and services seeks a dedicated, service-oriented professional to join our team as a Sales Coordinator in our Manchester office.
 
The Sales Coordinator provides order administration and customer service support to ensure that company policies and procedures are followed, gross profit is retained, and to maximize a Sales Representative’s outside sales time.  

Ideal Candidates will:

  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints, taking the appropriate action to send out literature, quote fill-in product, respond to order status inquiries and resolve customer concerns
  • Assist Sales Reps in preparation of accurate and complete quotes and orders, checking for accuracy of pricing and information
  • Convert quotes and release all orders in accordance with established department procedures
  • Ensure PO’s reach vendors
  • Troubleshoot and manage PO throughout order cycle (changes, additions, etc)
  • Process vendor and customer acknowledgements and follow up on inconsistencies and changes
  • Coordinate requests for service, delivery and install
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of accounting issues
  • Monitor and resolve open issues from order management reports
  • Maintain accurate and standardized files
  • Answer incoming calls for Sales Rep when Rep is on other line, cell phone or out of the office
  • Perform other duties as required to support assigned Sales Reps, allowing Reps to maximize outside sales time 

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong math aptitude
  • Solid interpersonal skills that enhance a team environment
  • Ability to problem solve independently with a sense of urgency
  • Positive and upbeat attitude with customer service orientation
  • Intermediate PC Skills: Word and Excel
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Detail oriented and organized, with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Post high school professional training in computer skills or business-related area or BA/BS degree
  • Two years in customer service or related experience preferred
